ECA HYGIENE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Globally, industries that include health, food, hospitality, water treatment, and beverages have increasingly become under scrutiny by governments and regulators, who frequently inspect and test facilities and products for safety. These industries have proactively responded by developing and applying more advanced hygiene management systems to ensure compliance. Electrochemical Activation (ECA) Technology is one such system that is fast becoming synonymous with hygiene management in various industries.
WHAT IS ECA?
ECA is a replacement for traditional chemical cleaning and disinfection processes. The electrochemical Activation of water, better known as ECA solutions are created by mixing readily available food-grade salt with water, and feeding it through the reactors, which are the core of the ECA device, which causes a reaction that produce two distinct solutions :
1) Anolyte: used as a disinfectant (thus replacing chlorine-based and other traditional disinfectant chemicals)
2) Catholyte: used as a detergent (thus replacing caustic-based chemicals and other traditional detergents).
ECA technologies and its application have wide applications and is more effective than the traditional methods of disinfection and cleaning.
ECA APPLICATIONS & BENEFITS
ECA is used in various applications around the world:
CLEANING IN PLACE (CIP) - BEVERAGE & BREWERY IND.
GENERAL
The ECA solutions are highly potent disinfectants for various applications. ECA is coming with cost benefits due to low installation, production & maintenance costs, and a long lifecycle of the generator. It is safe for unrestricted use by plant personnel, as well as in food and beverage products within all manufacturing and packaging plants. It is the ecological solution when it comes to Hygiene Management Systems.
